After completing her undergraduate degree through Ohio University in 1999 and 10-month internship in Rochester, New York in 2000; Kenna’s passion for music therapy led her to pursue contract work in Southeast Ohio. The demand for services eventually motivated Kenna to establish Rhythm-N-You Music Therapy, Inc which quickly expanded to include a talented staff. Once Kenna received her Master’s degree in 2007 from Ohio University, she moved back to her roots in KY where she currently resides with her husband and 2 sons. In 2018, Kenna relinquished ownership of the company. Kenna is currently adjunct faculty with Murray State University and provides contractual services to a regional hospice agency while continuing to offer music therapy workshops and presentations at the local, regional and national levels. Kenna loves experiencing the outdoors in beautiful Western KY through biking, hiking, and taking long walks with her family, yet also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new and healthy dishes. Most of all, the simple life with her family and friends is what brings her joy.
