Starting music therapy with our team is designed to be simple, supportive, and personalized from the very beginning.
Here’s what to expect:
First, contact us to request services. You can email us at director@rhythm-n-you.com or click here to fill out a brief form. Once we hear from you, we’ll send an intake form to learn more about the individual’s needs, goals, reasons for seeking services, and availability.
After reviewing the intake form, we carefully match those needs with one of our board-certified music therapists. The assigned therapist will then reach out directly to schedule an initial assessment session.
During the assessment session, the therapist identifies areas of strength, needs, preferences, and interests through music-based experiences. Following the session, the therapist completes a written assessment report summarizing findings and clinical impressions.
Based on the assessment, a personalized treatment plan is developed, outlining goals and objectives that will be addressed during sessions. Services typically occur as weekly sessions, with progress notes completed every six months (or more frequently if requested).
Billing is completed at the beginning of each month for services provided during the month prior, i.e. February billing reflects January services.
